Ferguson Youth Initiative (FYI)
FYI’s Mission – FYI is a 501(c)(3)  serving the youth of the Ferguson community by encouraging them and engaging them as active members of the community, developing programs as needed, and further communicating and partnering with existing community youth programs.

2013 /14 Goals

  • Engage 1500 youth with an average of 65 teens attending each of our sponsored events
  • Increase our database of volunteer support to 200
  • Secure and enrich the partnerships with other community organizations
  • Strengthen the sustainability of FYI with a basis of successful programs and $25K-$50K in our reserve balance.

Ferguson Youth Advisory Board (FYAB)
The purpose of the Youth Advisory Board is to provide the City Council a youth perspective on issues that affect the City of Ferguson and to provide youth with a forum to be active and make a difference in their community.
