Join us on March 1, 6:30 p.m., at City Hall for a community meeting discussing the implementation of a form-based code in downtown Ferguson.
The City of Ferguson is beginning the process of creating a new
downtown form-based zoning code to fulfill the community’s aspirations
in the Downtown Strategic Development Plan. Form-based codes
encourage the pedestrian-friendly and mixed-use environment that we
envision for downtown Ferguson. We invite you to contribute to the
planning process by soliciting your ideas about the future appearance
and function of downtown. During the meeting, attendees will
participate in an Image Preference Survey that collects your
impressions of how downtown could look. The ideas generated at the
meeting will be used to create a code that physically implements the
community’s vision for downtown. Please join business and property
owners, residents, and other stakeholders, in shaping that future.
