The application process to be part of the Ferguson Civilian Review Board (CRB) has been re-opened and the application has been revised/updated to reduce the amount of questions and make the application more user-friendly.
Additional education session are being held for those interested in applying to be on the CRB. Two sessions were held earlier in January and the last two sessions will be held:
- Thursday, Jan. 26, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, Room #4, Ferguson Community Center (1050 smith Ave.)
- Sunday, Jan. 29, 1:30pm - 3:00pm, Room #4, Ferguson Community Center (1050 Smith Ave.)
Residents (or Ferguson business owners, teachers, clergy, or other community leaders serving within Ferguson) interested in being appointed to the CRB are required to attend an education session in order to learn about the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the CRB. Applications will be given to those who want to apply.
Applications must be turned in by Monday, Feb. 13. The City Council will then appoint 9 members to the CRB based on the applications received last May/June, and here in January/February.
Please consider whether this is an avenue of service for you within the Ferguson community.
