The Community Center is located at 1050 Smith Avenue, Ferguson, Missouri. This event will provide an opportunity for you to hear about the Winter 2020 Status Report and Year Four Workplan, which were filed with the Court on January 31, 2020, and will serve as an introduction to the Monitoring Team’s newest subject matter expert, Dr. Leigh R. Anderson.
Dr. Anderson is originally from Saint Louis. She attended Metro Academic and Classical High School, followed by Howard University, where she graduated summa cum laude with bachelor degrees in Administration of Justice and Spanish. She went on to attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Masters of Public Administration-Inspector General Program before obtaining a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University. Since then, she has worked with various agencies analyzing, researching, and providing recommendations in the area of public safety. These agencies include the FBI, HHS, HSEMA, FEMA, the D.C. and Harvey Police Departments, and the D.C. and Chicago Offices of the Inspector General.
