Please bring the following items with you to your Court Date:
Payments can be made online or by calling 1-800-444-1187 (you must have your case/ticket number and the credit/debit card must be in your name). Payment can also be made in person at the Municipal Court Building located at 222 S. Florissant Rd., Ferguson, MO 63135 in the form of cash, credit/debit card, cashier’s check or money order. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additionally, payment can be mailed to the Municipal Court Building in the form of cashier’s check or money order (the cashier’s check or money order must be made out to the City of Ferguson). For after-hours payments, a drop box is located to the left of the front door of the building at the top of the stairs (envelopes are provided).
You can set up monthly payment arrangements at your court date after you have plead on your charges before the Judge. Payments are always due on the first Friday of each month. If you are unable to make your payment by the due date, you will need to appear in court the following Monday at 6:00 p.m. to speak with the Judge about a continuance. A warrant will not be issued for failing to pay your fine. However, a warrant and/or license suspension, if applicable, could be issued if you fail to appear in court on your scheduled court date.
The goal of the Ferguson Municipal Court is to assist you in resolving your cases. However, neither the Judge nor the Court staff can give you any legal advice. You will always have the option hire an attorney at any point of your case, but you are nor required to. You may to represent yourself. Additionally, you can set up a payment arrangement or other alternatives if fines are assessed. Please refer to the Rights and Responsibilities section for more information.

If you feel that you are indigent and are unable to pay your fine or complete community service, you can request an Ability to Pay Determination hearing at your court date. You will be required to fill out the Statement of Financial Condition form. A copy of the form can be found under the Forms section or will be provided to you at your court date.

You have rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For example, if you or a witness are deaf or hearing impaired, you have the right t request assistance, including an interpreter at no cost. Additionally, if you have Limited English Proficiency (LEP), you have the right to request an interpreter in your native language at no cost.
