The Sports Complex has over 71,000 visitors annually who participate or watch a wide variety of tournaments, sports leagues, special events or practices which are managed by the Parks & Recreation Department. The 21 acre complex features the following lit facilities:
- Softball fields (4)
- Baseball field
- Soccer fields (2)
- Tennis courts (8)
- Basketball court (1)
- Handball courts (2)
- Multi-use trail
- Full-service concession stands (2)
- Batting cage
- Playground
- Pavilions (2)
The Ferguson Sports Complex at Forestwood Park is located at 825 Ferguson Avenue.
From Interstate 270, exit at Washington/Elizabeth and go south on Elizabeth Avenueapproximately 2½ miles, then turn left onto Ferguson Avenue. The entrance to the Complex is about ¼ mile down, on the left.
From Interstate 70, exit at Bermuda Road and go north approximately 1½ miles, following the road to the right onto Elizabeth Avenue, then turn right onto Ferguson Ave. The entrance to the Complex is about ¼ mile down, on the left.
