Fishing
Fishing is permitted in January-Wabash Lake. A City of Ferguson license is not required, but fishermen must comply with all state of Missouri fishing regulations, including a state fishing license for persons 16-64 years of age. The Missouri Department of Conservation stocks, enforces daily limits, and helps manage the lake through its Urban Fishing Program. Part of the program includes the stocking of trout bi-weekly, November through February. Ferguson police officers enforce limits and permits. Call the Missouri Department of Conservation at (636) 300-9651 for stocking information for all area lakes.
