The City of Ferguson offers a variety of Sport Leagues for adults.  Additionally there are several Sport Organizations available throughout the city for adult & youth sporting activities.  Here is a list of our current leagues available and organizations, for more information on these or future leagues see our current brochure.

Dodgeball

All you need to learn is the 5 D's: Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. A good sense of humor is the key to having a great time! Get together six to ten people ages 18+ to form a co-ed team for the Dodgeball League. Great way to get your throwing arm in shape before softball season starts. Matches will consist of five games with all five counting toward league standings. Supervisor: Kyle Pfister.

Indoor Volleyball
New teams are needed for all the adult leagues that provide a great opportunity for a little excercise and a night out with friends.  Leagues offered include recreational and modified for coed and women.  Get a team together with your friends, neighbors, church groups, and co-workers.

Coed Sand Volleyball

The Ferguson Parks and Recreation Department will be offering an Adult Coed Sand Volleyball league this summer. So get your friends, family, and co-workers gathered up to form a team.  The league will play Thursdays at the sand court in Hudson Park.

Adult Softball

Softball
Accepting new teams for the adult  fall leagues which provide great exercise and socialization with friends and teammates. Men and coed league fees include one umpire per game, lighted fields, new softballs, bases, awards, and make-up for rainouts.  Leagues will play the specified number of games noted below with no playoffsInterested teams must submit a complete roster and payment by August 2 . Final balances due by August  9.  Additional information including fees and rosters can be obtained at the Recreation Office.  Supervisor:  Kyle Pfister.

Kickball
Kickball
Kickball is centered around having a good time, meeting new people and playing a timeless recreational game. This is the newest trend and it’s quickly becoming the most popular recreational activity and due to its popularity we will offer it two days a week. If you haven't played kickball since the 4th grade, or if you are a seasoned veteran, this league is for you. The only requirement is that you are 18 years of age or older. Supervisor: Kyle Pfister.

Batting Cages - Now open for 2010 season

Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance, and may be completed by calling the parks and recreation office at 521-4661. Adult coaches must be present to manually feed balls behind the safety screen, and all batters must wear a helmet.                                     

$10 per 30 minutes per cage Monday - Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm
