The City of Ferguson offers a variety of Sport Leagues for adults.  Additionally there are several Sport Organizations available throughout the city for adult & youth sporting activities.  Here is a list of our current leagues available and organizations, for more information on these or future leagues see our current brochure.

Dodgeball

All you need to learn is the 5 D's: Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. A good sense of humor is the key to having a great time! Get together six to ten people ages 18+ to form a co-ed team for the Dodgeball League. Great way to get your throwing arm in shape before softball season starts. Matches will consist of five games with all five counting toward league standings. Supervisor: Kyle Pfister. No games March 26.

Indoor Volleyball
New teams are needed for all the adult leagues that provide a great opportunity for a little excercise and a night out with friends.  Leagues offered include recreational and modified for coed and women.  Get a team together with your friends, neighbors, church groups, and co-workers. 
Interested teams or individuals should call the recreation office today.

Adult Softball

Softball
Teams are needed for adult softball leagues.  League fees include one umpire per game, lighted fields, ASA regulation softball, bases, awards, and make-up for rainouts. Each league will play the specified number of games noted below, along with playoffs. Additional information and rosters can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Office. A $40 discount is given to resident teams. Supervisor: Kyle Pfister.

Kickball
Kickball
Kickball is centered around having a good time, meeting new people and playing a timeless recreational game. This is the newest trend and it’s quickly becoming the most popular recreational activity and due to its popularity we will offer it two days a week. If you haven't played kickball since the 4th grade, or if you are a seasoned veteran, this league is for you. The only requirement is that you are 18 years of age or older. Supervisor: Kyle Pfister. No games May 28, July 2. 

Friday: April 30 - July 9
Wednesday: May 5 - June 30
8 week season plus play - offs
$180 Resident teams; $220 Non - Resident teams

Tennis
The 8 court facility has been completely renovated. The project included new nets, posts, center straps and anchors, concrete footings and resurfaced courts. The facility is considered to have the best courts in the area. Supervisor: Stan Kreitler

Tennis Lessons-
Youth and Adults, the lessons are structured for beginning players ages 11-18 and adults focusing on the fundamentals of tennis.

Batting Cages

Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance, and may be completed by calling the parks and recreation office at 521-4661. Adult coaches must be present to manually feed balls behind the safety screen, and all batters must wear a helmet.  Cages open March 15.

$10 per 30 minutes per cage Monday - Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm
