Sealed bid proposals labeled "Demolition of 3158 Pershall Road" will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Ferguson, 110 Church Street, Ferguson, Missouri, 63135, until 11:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened. All bids shall be submitted in triplicate in an envelope marked "Demolition of 3158 Pershall Road".
The Scope of Work includes:
- Demolition and removal of a one story brick/mortar commercial building, approximately 22,000 sq. ft.
- Removal of an asphalt parking lot approximately 35,000 sq. ft.
Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this Contract.
A 10% security in the form specified must accompany each bid.
No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
Payments for work completed shall be processed and paid on a monthly basis.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
Bid packages will be available from the Department of Public Works at the City of Ferguson, Municipal Garage, 901 Ferguson Avenue, Ferguson, MO 63135.
