The summer edition of the “Ferguson Traveler”, a newsletter published by the Ferguson Recreation Department, has just hit area mail boxes. Learn about various one day and extended trips and tours sponsored by the Ferguson Recreation Department.
One day trips include a trip to the Lantern Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, a tour of the new Peabody Opera House with lunch at Tucker’s Place, lunch at the Pioneer’s Cabin along with a musical production, an evening at Fairmount Park and a Patriotic Fireworks Cruise.
Overnight tours include a trip to Chicago on AMTRAK along with a Cardinals vs. Cubs match up, a visit to the Meskwaki Casino and Bingo Hall in Tama, Iowa, a visit to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson, A Kalightoscope Christmas in Louisville, Kentucky, a visit to Ferdinand Indiana’s Christkindlmarkt overnighting at the French Lick Resort, a gambling excursion to Oklahoma, a Fall Foliage Mystery Excursion in October, and a visit to Atlantic City New Jersey’s Boardwalk.
