CITY OF FERGUSON, MISSOURI
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 110 Church Street, Ferguson, Missouri, at which time citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed by Ferguson, a political subdivision. The tax rates shall be set to produce the revenue which the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, shows to be required from the property tax; and in accordance with the provisions of Section 137.115 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, and Article X, Section 22 of the Missouri State Constitution.
The budget is on file in the office of the City Clerk and is available for public viewing in that office at 110 Church Street, Ferguson, Missouri during the normal business hours of 8:30 AM to
5:00 PM. The City’s budget is also available online at www.fergusoncity.com All persons interested may appear and be heard at the public hearing.
The proposed tax rates are based on assessed values provided by the St Louis County Assessor’s Office as of July 15, 2015. They are subject to appeals and finalization by the St. Louis County Board of Equalization, the State Tax Commission and review by the Missouri State Auditor’s Office.
