Last spring, the City of Ferguson and Lindenwood University partnered on a powerful entrepreneurship program, Who Owns the Ice House. The program, which is geared toward entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs is continuing to be a huge success and a great benefit to the community. Funding has also been increased allowing for more people to take advantage of the free program.
You can play a huge part in getting more people involved in the program by submitting names and contact information of anyone who could benefit from the Ice House course, as soon as possible. Feel free to forward this information to groups or local leaders who can also provide recommendations. http://www.dureecenter.org/#!ice-house-entrepreneurship-program/cuoi
The next session of the Who Owns the Ice House classes will start on Monday, January 25, 2016. The classes from 6:00 – 9:00 and are held at the Lindenwood University North St. Louis County venue located at 45 Washington Street, just behind Johnny Londoff Chevrolet. As in the past the classes will run for five weeks on Monday nights. Lindenwood will supply all the needed materials to participants in the class.
In order to better prepare students, Lindenwood officials would like to start the process by interviewing each person interested in enrolling. The goal is to address any concerns, set expectations, and discuss the many benefits for a current or future business owner.
