The (MCHR), as a part of the Show-Me Fair Housing Awareness Project, US Dept of Housing and Urban Development, FYI and 4H Youth Program UM Extension, invites you to participate in the 2017 Fair Housing Poster and Journalism Contest.
The Missouri Commission on Human Rights (MCHR), as a part of the Show-Me Fair Housing Awareness Project, US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ferguson Youth Initiative (FYI) and 4H Youth Program University of Missouri Extension, invites you to participate in the 2017 Fair Housing Poster and Journalism Contest. This contest is open to all youths in grades K-12 who participate in or are affiliated with any FYI or 4H MU Extension.
To enter, students must write an essay or design a poster with the theme "Fair Housing: Building a Better World." The submission should depict what it means for Missouri residents to have the right to non-discriminatory housing - housing that is accessible and open to everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, disability or familial status.
