On Wednesday July 7, 2021 the City Council for the City of Ferguson voted to finalize contract negotiations for the hiring of Mr. Eric Osterberg of Klamath Falls, Oregon as the City’s new full-time City Manager. The City conducted a nationwide search for a new City Manager and received numerous resumés from qualified applicants. The applicant pool was recently narrowed down to three finalists and Mr. Osterberg stood out amongst those finalists as the best choice for the City of Ferguson. Mr. Osterberg currently serves in the role of Assistant to the City Manager in Klamath Falls.
A resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign the contract passed on Friday July 9,2021. We are excited to announce Eric Osterberg as the new City Manager for the City of Ferguson effective August 16th, 2021.
