Technology has given us many options while trying to maintain a sense of normalcy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. While it can be a great resource there are times it presents problems and does not work as anticipated. During the Ferguson City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 we experienced several technical difficulties with the zoom software. Throughout the meeting there were several people, who lost connectivity, could not gain access to the meeting, and were not being shown in the waiting room by the software. The City of Ferguson strives to prepare for any situation that may arise during scheduled meetings, however, sometimes the software causes unforeseen issues and we wanted to take the time to issue an apology for any issues that may have arose during the last City Council meeting. In the future if you are experiencing any type of technical issue please direct your concerns to the City Clerk and they will contact you as soon as possible to try and remedy the issue and ensure it does not happen in the future.
